Icing Tips and Silicone

I recently did 2 different experiences with 2 different videos where I tried out various Russian and traditional icing tips with silicone. Normally decorative silicone piping is done with a #13 star tip. But why cant others work just the same? Check out the videos below and let me know your thoughts!

This Week’s Challenges: March 25 – 31 (OWPC, WW & CYW)

Week 13 is here! And it’s the final week of month 3!

Check out the announcement/homepage and get your name on the participant list here: https://tourmalinenow.com/2017/12/13/color-your-world-120-days-of-crayola-2018-year-3/

Color your world is a 4 month long daily blogging challenge event. Each day has a new color theme based on a crayon color in Crayola’s box of 120 crayons. The challenge runs January 1, 2018 to April 30, 2018. The week’s colors will be announced via my ‘This Week’s Challenges’ posts each Sunday and you’ll have the following week to respond to those 7 colors as you choose. Post, daily, weekly, or anything in between.

Your contribution can come in any form – art, poetry, flash fiction, a tale of a miscellaneous memory – anything, the only caveat – it has to be inspired by the color of the day. You can join in every single day or simply post at your leisure.

Comment back on the weekly challenge post with a link to your contribution and tag your post #coloyyourworld and #cyw so that other participants can see what you’ve come up with. Be sure to follow #coloryourworld and #cyw in your reader as well if you’re a WordPress user.

2018 Participants:

One Word Photo Challenge: Negative

If you want to share a literal image of the actual word, do that. But if you’d rather play with word association, post something that reminds you of the specific word, or something you use the word for, do so. It only has to make sense to you. Have fun and keep on photographing!
